Mom: What do you want to be when you grow up, Madalyn? (Curious, for unlike her brother, she's not one to express herself, nor just offer up personal information - even to her parents!)
Mad: Spongebob. (casually matter-of-fact)
Mom (almost careens off road) : What!?! Spongebob?? (Could have knocked me over with a feather! I knew she liked Spomgebob. He was her birthday party theme this year after all. But to want to grow up to BE him????)
Mad: Yeah. (sheepishly smiling)
Mom (chuckling): What would you do as Spongebob?
Mad: Play with Patrick. (Cheshire cat grin)
*Both of us burst out laughing!
Liz and Madalyn can talk about this ~ I think she would like to be Sponge Bob too. LOL!
