Priceless Perspective: From the mouths of babes...

{Scene: Scurrying through Hellmart Walmart on Father's Day night, mySamuelson & Mad in tow, looking for "Dad" gifts from the kids.  Briefly side-tracked by display of children's watershoes in middle of aisle (blasted Marketing Dept. does that on purpose!)


Mom: "Ooooh!  Punk needs a new pair of shoes for the pool." (Poor child's toes are hanging off the end of the sandals she's currently wearing! (and touching the ground!)

Mad: "Look Mom! (in partial, excited shock while stabbing her fingers at a pair of shoes)  It's the same kind of shoes the Easter Bunny brought me!"  (mySamuelson & I both did a double-take!)

mySamuelson: "The Easter Bunny must shop at Walmart, Madalyn." (dismissively)
