I love this!! My KID did the breath holding thing too and none of the grandparents like that I call him "Kid" but that's what I call him at times like those... It's like, "Kid, what in the world are you doing now?" I feel it's better than "weirdo" which I'm very close to using!! :)
My oldest daughter did the breath holding thing. She'd stiffen up and her lips would turn blue and her eyes would roll up. Scared the living daylights out of me. I called the pediatrician's office and they said if you're really concerned, just blow in her face and she'll breathe in. Worked. They also said to just walk away and ignore her and she'll quit doing it. Also worked!!!
